Brandon Ford - Founder & Chief TeaMaker

Brandon is the founder of Vintage TeaWorks and currently serves as VTW’s Chief TeaMaker / Mad Tea Scientist (i.e. He’s in charge of R&D).   Brandon considers himself somewhat of an Oenophilic Teaosophist (huh?) and has been drinking tea his entire life and wine his entire adult life (with a few sips in high school :)).  Brandon sees tea as a great tool for connecting with people - just like wine.

Brandon holds an Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the London based Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and is a Certified Spanish Wine Educator. He also holds his Level 1 and Level 2 certificates from the Specialty Tea Institute and is completing hisTea Blending Certification with the American Tea Masters Association.

A recognized sales and marketing leader best known for crafting strategic vision for companies in order to achieve business goals.  Mary offers a unique blend of executive acumen, global team-building and sales and marketing solutions.  With a reputation for creativity – Mary’s work has been instrumental in providing start-up businesses, as well as large established corporations with leading sales strategy and innovative marketing tools.  Additionally, Mary has raised the visibility of key personnel within organizations by bringing innovative ideas to the forefront for discussion and development.  Mary’s career includes leadership roles in the Investment Management, Healthcare and Hospitality industry.

 

Our Story

At Vintage TeaWorks, we are passionate about two things – tea and wine.  So passionate are we about these divine delights that we set out to find a way to bring the two of them together.  We scoured the market and were disappointed to see what was available – teas that were artificially flavored to mimic wine weren’t what we expected or what we wanted.  We knew we could do better and Vintage TeaWorks was born.  Our teas aren't meant to mimic or recreate wine, but rather to celebrate wine and tea's unique characteristics.
